Community Strategic Plan

Wyong Shire may contain more than 200,000 people within 20 years.

It's therefore particularly important that the community plans carefully for the future. The Community Strategic Plan (2030) looks ahead over two decades. It lays out four principles that must apply in the future and identifies eight priority objectives to create the best possible quality of life.

The plan provides a direction and focus for our community in all levels of government to achieve the most significant long-term benefits.

This document was formulated as a partnership with the community and NSW government during 2008 and 2009.

It was updated in 2011, to ensure that the most up-to-date strategies and directions were incorporated in the plan while retaining the principles and objectives of the original document.
