Water education in preschools
Preschool Water Education Program
Wyong and Gosford councils have developed a mulit-faceted water education program for early childhood centres, teachers, children and their families that focuses on saving water and the importance of water in our lives. The program engages children from a young age on how we use water at school and at home and how to save water through participation in fun activities.
The program has been rolled out to a large number of council, community and independently-run childcare centres on the Central Coast and is open to all centres who would like to participate.
