Lower Wyong River Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan

This plan was adopted in October 2010.

It covers the floodplain of Wyong River from Woodbury's Bridge on Alison Road, to about 1.4 kilometres upstream of the junction of the river and Tuggerah Lakes. This is about 16 square kilometres.

The plan explains floodplain management, including  land use planning, communicating with the State Emergency Service, maintaining flood-related infrastructure, publishing flood information for the public and updating technical studies.
