Tuggerah Lakes Floodplain Risk Management Study
There are more than 5,000 houses in the catchment of Tuggerah Lakes.
This figure rises to take in more than 8,000 dwellings when the New South Wales Government's projected sea level rise planning benchmarks are taken into account.
To address this risk, Wyong Shire Council is currently formulating the Tuggerah Lakes Floodplain Risk Management Plan, based on the outcomes of the Tuggerah Lakes Floodplain Risk Management Study.
