Resident ePanel

Wyong Shire Council will soon be launching a new Resident ePanel to give you the opportunity to have your say on a whole range of local issues. The Resident ePanel will run alongside other engagement activities.

We are looking for around 1000 Wyong Shire residents who are willing to spare some time to take part in email and web-based surveys around 6 - 8 times a year.

You are eligible to join the Resident ePanel if:

  • you are a resident of Wyong Shire
  • you are over 18 years of age.
  • you are not employed by or an elected Councillor of Wyong Shire Council

How to join

Step 1.

Fill in the online application.

Step 2.

Once we receive your application you will receive an an acknowledgement by email.

Step 3.

When the panel is established in April 2012 you will be sent a second email with a username and password.

Step 4.

When a survey questionnaire is ready it will be emailed to you, you then need to enter your username and password to complete it. We understand that you may not always be available to complete all surveys but we really appreciate any time you do take to complete our surveys.

In early 2012, we will be launching an “Engagement Finder” on our website – this will be the home of all online consultation. You can use the Engagement Finder to find out about current consultations, take part in on-line surveys, see what happened as a result of past consultations and register your interest in future consultations.

What type of issues will we survey you about:

  • significant long term issues with high impact on our communities
  • projects to help us make an informed decision
  • issues that impact the whole of the shire
  • issues that are complex or need to consider competing interests
  • strategic directions, policies or actions directly referred to in the Wyong Shire Community Plan 2030.
  • other issues nominated as appropriate.

Your views and personal details will remain confidential. You can choose to withdraw from the resident ePanel at any time by informing our Community Engagement team in writing.
