Cemeteries and Memorial Gardens

Wyong Shire Council operates five cemeteries: 

• Noraville Cemetery and its Memorial Garden and Niche Wall
• Jilliby Cemetery
• Yarramalong Cemetery    
• St Barnabas Cemetery  
• Ronkana Cemetery 

Our cemeteries hold a lot of history that we take great care to preserve. We have been supporting families for generations, with many of the Shire’s pioneer families buried at our cemeteries. You can search online for a Deceased.

Purchasing a Memorial Site

After the passing of a loved one, choosing a final resting place can be a difficult time. Our compassionate and experienced Cemetery Bereavement Officer is available to meet with you to discuss your needs and guide you towards the best option for you and your family. There are a range of options to suit your needs and budget.

Pre Selecting your Site

Many people choose this option to ensure their loved ones are not burdened with these choices during an emotional time. We can help you select a preferred site.

Cemetery forms and charges

Forms can be downloaded, completed and returned to Council.

•  Appliction for purchasing a plot (607.20 KB) used to purchase a Burial Plot.
•  Application for Burial Permit (52.36 KB) used when there is a burial to take place  
•  Application for Right to Niche at Noraville Memorial Gardens (446.38 KB) used to purchase a Niche Spot in the Memorial Gardens.
•  Application for placement of ashes at Noraville Memorial Garden (42.90 KB) used to inter ashes in the Memorial Gardens.
• Application for Right to Niche at Noraville Memorial Wall (460.58 KB) used to purchase a Niche Spot in the Memorial Wall.
•  Application for placement of ashes at Noraville Memorial Wall (269.31 KB) used to inter ashes in the Memorial Wall.
•  Plaque Order Form (250.32 KB) for the Noraville Memorial Wall and Gardens used to decide what details you would like inscripted on the plaque.
•  Application to carry out monumental works (701.86 KB) used when applying for Monumental works to be carried out on a burial site. Please also read the  requirements to carry out monumental works (1,018.94 KB) carefully.
•  Application to transfer right of burial (900.71 KB) used to transfer the "Right of Burial" for a burial plot back to Wyong council or to another person.
•  Application to transfer right to niche at Memorial Garden (789.61 KB) used to transfer the "Right to Burial" for a Niche spot back to Wyong council or to another person.
