Library membership
To join the Library Service, visit one of our branches and complete a membership form. Bring some identification showing your name and current address. Membership is free to residents and people who work in Wyong Shire. You may also join online.
What can I borrow?
You may borrow up to 20 items on your card at any one time. There is a limit of 10 DVDs on your card. MA+ and R18+ DVDs can only be borrowed on an adult membership card. Items are issued to you for two weeks. You need to present your library card when borrowing at one of our branches.
How do I renew my items?
Items are borrowed for two weeks and may be renewed once, providing no one has placed a reservation on the item. Items may be renewed in person, by telephone or online. Overdue items cannot be renewed online.
How do I return my items when the library is closed?
All Branch Libraries have a return chute near the front entry.
How do I use the internet at the library?
All Branch Libraries have computers for access to the internet, Microsoft Word and Excel. Bookings of up to one hour may be made (with a limit of two hours per day). Please contact your branch library to make a booking.

How do I access wi-fi at the library?
All Branch Libraries have FREE access to wi-fi (for appropriately configured wi-fi enabled devices). Just ask for a wi-fi ticket at the front counter and you will be given a user name and password. This gives you one hour or 500 mb of free wi-fi access.
Please note that Library staff are unable to help you configure wi-fi settings on your device. Whilst printing is not available from the wi-fi setting, you can print items from your USB drive when connected to one of our public computers (bookings required).

How do I photocopy at the library?
All Branch Libraries have a coin operated photocopier.
How do I access a Justice of the Peace (JP)?
JPs visit Tuggerah Library every Saturday between 9:00am and noon and at Lake Haven Library between 9:00am and 2:00pm every Thursday.
How do I replace a lost library card?
Report it to a branch as soon as possible. A replacement card can be purchased.
