Water main break - Tuggerah

Wyong Shire Council advises that emergency works are currently underway to repair a broken water main at the intersection of Cobbs Rd & Wyong Rd Tuggerah.

Householders and businesses in Tuggerah may experience incidences of low water pressure.

Properties and streets bounded by the intersection of Gavenlock Rd and Anzac Rd including Tambelin St, Hillview St, Yaldeeme Cl and Arunta Rd may have no water until 8pm.

Tap water may be discoloured during the evening owing to repairs.

It is expected that any discoloured water will clear overnight. However, as a precaution, people in Tuggerah and surrounds should check tap water before washing clothing

Should residents continue to experience problems they are advised to run the front garden tap into a bucket for up to 30 seconds to check if the water clears. If not, repeat half hourly until clear. Residents can clear inside lines once outside water is clear. Water collected during this time may be used on gardens.

Council apologises for any inconvenience.
