The building and development industries play a big role in the economic health of Wyong Shire and create a large number of jobs. Council is committed to achieving positive environmental, social and development outcomes for the local community.
Council held an inaugural Developers' Forum in February this year and a follow up one on May 23 to continue the conversation with the development sector about how to best deliver housing and infrastructure for the growing Central Coast community and provide an opportunity for developers to discuss development issues directly with Council. Council's Group Leader of Environment and Planning presented to the forum and detailed current planning controls and projects underway on the Central Coast. Our departmental service commitment is shown within the Development and Building Service Delivery Charter which identifies the top 25 most frequent service requests followed by an expected response time for each activity.
