The 2016 program offers an opportunity for Wyong Shire primary students to become involved in fun, innovative and environmentally sustainable projects.
 
This year’s theme is "The Drain is Just for the Rain" and aims to encourage schools to look at stormwater through individual and community activities and use, environmental impacts and stormwater management. The program is divided into 3 categories:
 
1. School Eco-Tour
2. Oral Presentation/ Performance
3. Stormwater Projects

Mosquito awareness

pdf format Living with Mosquitoes (1.11 MB) was produced by University of Sydney researchers in conjunction with Westmead Hospital.

The booklet aims to raise awareness of health hazards posed by the common ‘mozzie’, ways of easing the risk; and information about how their habitat can be taken into account in urban planning.
