Cemeteries and Memorial Gardens
Central Coast Council operates five cemeteries:
Our cemeteries hold a lot of history that we take great care to preserve. We have been supporting families for generations, with many of the Shire’s pioneer families buried at our cemeteries. You can search online for name of a deceased person.
Mother's Day Service
Central Coast Council will be holding a unique ceremony at 11:00am on Saturday 12th May to recognise Mums. This year the cermeony has moved from Noraville to Wamberal Cemetery. Mother’s Day is a beautiful time to honour and say thank you to all the Mums and mother figures in the community. Mother’s Day can also be a sad time for those whose mothers have passed away.
This special commemorative service is a free so families come together to pay tribute to the women in their lives and, for some, to remember those they have lost. Supported by White Lady Funerals it provides a time to reflect and remember our mums, grandmas, nans and aunties as well as any other mother figures who touched our lives and have passed on.
Light refreshments served after the Service.
