Tuggerah Library holds the local and family history collection that has related books, reports, magazines, photographs, microfiche/film and CD-ROMs as well as a dedicated Research Room and reading area. The family history computers, microfiche and microfilm readers can be reserved for up to two hours, by telephoning (02) 4350 1560.

You can use Ancestry.com and Find my Past for free at Tuggerah Library, whilst all branches have free access to the Find my Past databases.

Bookings are essential and can be made by contacting your local branch. You can also AskALibrarian@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au  about your local studies or family history research.
Local Studies and family history material generally can't be borrowed.  We do have information that can be accessed online, including Picture Wyong, our database of historic images and documents.

Additional Family History Research Information

The Wyong Family History Group  provides a volunteer to assist with your family history research on the third Saturday morning of each month, except for December. There's no need to book - just come to Tuggerah Library between 9:00am and 12 noon with your family history research questions.

Electoral Rolls lists those historic local electoral rolls maintained at Tuggerah Library. Current electoral rolls can only be viewed  in person at an office of the Australian Electoral Commission.
