FREE World Environment Day - Beat Plastic Pollution

With a number of workshops, information stalls and the FREE screening of Blue the Film you will leave inspired and motivated to make lifestyle choices in order to reduce single use plastic use.

The afternoon (4.30-6.30pm) will consist of boomerang bag and beeswax eco wrap workshops, market stalls with single use plastic alternatives, waste as art, upcycled products and Plastic Free July Challenge information.

Total Environment Centre will also be on site demonstrating the implications of marine plastic pollution with through their enlightening Ocean Action Pod interactive display station, which will also be at Kibble Park earlier in the day. Through this uniquely innovative and stimulating resource you will learn how you can be part of the solution.   

The FREE screening of the inspirational film, Blue, will commence at 6.30pm. Described by Greenpeace as a cinematic song for oceans, this film is beautiful, intimate, grand, fearlessly truth-telling yet passionately hopeful. Following the film there will be a Q&A with Take 3 co-founder Tim Silverwood.

Bookings for workshops will be available only on the day so come early to avoid disappointment.
